Welcome to Milkhouse Flowers, where we believe in doing our best right where we are. This philosophy has guided us since 2019 and continues to shape our flower journey. As a proud Wisconsin dairy farm girl married to a Minnesota dairy farm boy, I grew up steeped in the traditions of agriculture.

After earning our degrees in agriculture from the University of Wisconsin River Falls, my husband and I dedicated ourselves to raising our three sons on our fourth-generation farm. In 2017, we transitioned from milking dairy cows to raising dairy heifers, creating an opportunity to expand the farming model.

With our milkhouse empty, I saw a chance to write a new chapter. My passion for flowers, nurtured through years of growing them in my own yard and crafting arrangements for friends and family, inspired me to enroll in floral design classes. There, I connected with fellow farmer florists who were cultivating and designing with their own grown blooms. This experience ignited a spark in my heart, and from that, Milkhouse Flowers was born.

With the support of my family, we cultivate a diverse array of annuals, perennials, bulb flowers, and woody plants. Flower farming is a labor of love, and every step—hand seeding, planting, and harvesting—is done with care.

This attention to detail allows us to provide our customers with vibrant, fresh, and long-lasting blooms. Today, our milkhouse has been transformed, serving as the heart of Milkhouse Flowers and allowing me, the farmer florist, to truly thrive. We are looking to hire hardworking individuals with a passion for flowers to join our team! An excellent opportunity for someone who loves flowers and working outside!

Our passion is flowers, which is why we are committed to responsibly growing a variety of specialty cut flowers on our family farm. Each flower is hand-seeded, hand-planted, and hand-harvested, providing our community with fresh, fragrant local blooms! Be a part of our flower farm journey!

This position will work closely with all team members at Milhouse Flowers. Primary duties will include growing, maintaining, and harvesting flowers for both on-farm sales and wholesale outlets. This position requires a detailed oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality performance. This is a Monday-Friday, approximately 30-hour position with occasional Saturdays during planting season.

This position primarily assists in planting, harvesting, and flower bed maintenance. Each day will begin with a list of tasks to be completed. Therefore, this position requires an individual who can work independently with limited supervision while maintaining efficient and quality performance. This position is an M, T, Th, approximately 20-hour with occasional Fridays.
